WELCOME BACK

A character of yours lives here — [character name].

01

Make a character

Their name, a drawing of them, their height, walk and voice, and what they're like.

02

Drop into a world

Worlds are shared spaces — you'll meet other players in them.

03

Play

Talk, join a game someone's hosting, leave a note for whoever comes next.

S·01

MAKE A CHARACTER

Your drawing stands up.

A drawing, a render, a photo of a sketch — Talebreak cuts it out and stands it up in the world, your art kept intact, edge to edge. Give them a height, a walk, a voice, and what they're like.

Make as many characters as you like — you can edit any of them later.

S·02

YOUR ISLAND

An island of your own.

Every character gets an island. Raise houses, cut paths, plant a forest, leave it half-finished — it's yours to build, and visitors can walk it but never wreck it. Island links are always safe to share.

When you want company, drop into a shared world and meet other players' characters where they live.

S·03

CONVERSATIONS

Sit down and talk.

Take a seat with another character and the world pulls in close — portraits up, faces forward. Scenes unfold line by line: confessions, arguments, small-hours talk. Anyone nearby can catch a moment and stay to listen.

S·04

GAMES

Stand up and play.

When Velvet, the master of ceremonies, calls a parlor game, join in: eleven games, zero scoreboards. Warm-ups, interviews, two truths and a lie — every round is your character talking.

No winners or losers: the payoff is your character's lore, told with style.

S·05

LORE & STORIES

IT ALL GOES
IN THE BOOK.

Lines from scenes, answers from games, letters kept — your character's book fills itself as you play. It happened, so it's in there.

BETWEEN CHARACTERS

Some pages you have to earn.

Every pair of characters keeps a shared history. The more you live through together, the deeper into each other's book you can read.

Characters leave traces where they've really been. Dig one up, and you've earned your way in to write to them.
